Martial arts – Dojo

Dojo n., pl. ‘way place’, being a place where you learn the way of the martial arts.

The word ‘Dojo’ comes from Japanese literature and refers to a school for training in the Japanese arts of self-defense, such as judo and karate.

At Unigym Hobart, Dojo members and participants benefit from a modern and specifically designed Dojo creating a serene and comfortable environment to learn the skilful talent of martial arts. It is a sacred place of learning for students and teachers alike.

Unigym Hobart offers ‘Dojo only’ memberships for members who wish to exclusively use the Dojo facility rather than full Unigym services and programs. For more information see Unigym’s Price List.
